Overpriced and under-delivered

Liked: The location was good, with easy access to downtown. Front desk staff was attentive and accommodating. There were bikes available for the use by guests.
Disliked: The hotel claims to be newly renovated, but our room was still very tired looking with an uncomfortable bed and chipped and worn furniture. The biggest challenge was that our reservation was lost, and we were overcharged for our stay before we pointed this out. Light housekeeping did not happen in 5 hours that we were away from the property during the day. The hotel tried to make amends but facilities were still lacking.

Great location but the Toll...

Liked: We liked the location, Los Gatos is wonderful.
Disliked: The shower in the room did not have enough hot water. With the handle turned to the hottest setting, the water was still a cold shower. There was hot water in the sink, so the shower was the problem and needed a plumber. This was reported on day 1 of our stay and no action was taken to fix it or move us. Upon checking out, we realized the refrigerator did not work because the food we bought for the trip home was not cold.
