It was an enjoyable stay.

Liked: The rooms were well appointed, attractive and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room service was timely and absolutely delicious. The restaurant was good and service attentive. We enjoyed Bar Julian as well.
Disliked: The only complaint I would have is the acoustics of the room .we could hear doors opening and closing and voices in the hallway throughout the night.

Liked: Location was the best in town. Away from the busy tourist area but yet a walking distance away. The hotel room was clean and the staff was super helpful.

We loved our stay and...

Liked: Beautiful hotel and grounds, parking deck next door. Able to walk to everything, great staff who were always friendly and hospitable. Peaceful and quiet with a beautiful river view.
Disliked: It is on the far end of everything you want to walk to. Not exactly in the city center. This makes it more peaceful, but we would consider staying somewhere that is closer to restaurants, stores, landmarks.

Great place cheap toilet paper?

Liked: I thought everything was GREAT with the exception of cheap toilet paper? I really was surprised that a Hyatt would have really cheap toilet paper!
Disliked: The Toilet paper

Better then I could’ve expected!

Liked: The stay at The Thompson exceeded our expectations. The staff was extremely friendly and nice. The hotel was immaculate with so much to do right around it. It was just far enough from downtown to where you felt like you weren’t in the middle of everything with noises and tourists but at the same time was close enough to still be able to walk everywhere in the city you would want to go. One of the best hotels I’ve been to. Room was beautiful and comfortable!! Highly recommend!
