Liked: Staff were all very lovely and welcoming. Room was very clean and comfortable and was a perfect base during my trip to Leeds.
Disliked: Could have done with some soap in the bathroom for handwashing.

Lovely welcome, lovely room, spoilt...
Liked: Simon, who greeted us, was super friendly and helpful - he was very accommodating with our requirements regarding leaving overnight bags, and early check in (we were attending an all day event). He also gave us a bottle of water each, as it was a warm day and we had carried a fair few bags from the station. I can't fault the hosting at all - it was excellent customer service. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the beds were nice and firm. The tea and coffee tray was well stocked. The Wrens is within walking distance of the station, and only a few minutes away from the main shopping areas.
Disliked: Sadly, The Wrens is located in the middle of one of the many popular bar and eateries areas in Leeds, and we were staying overnight on a Saturday. There was a club right behind The Wrens and, unfortunately (and I appreciate the venue can do little about this) there was excessive noise from revellers and club goers all night. The Wrens did provide ear plugs but I can't sleep in ear plugs. The noise was constant throughout the night and only tailed off at around 6am, after a 'lovely' rendition of 'The wheels on the bus' by some local 'singers'. Unfortunately, my lack of sleep did spoil my stay in what would otherwise have been a superb stopover venue, hence my 6 rating. On a practical matter, there was nowhere in the bathroom to put a washbag or any toiletries - a small shelf or cupboard would've helped.

Clean rooms, really large property,...
Liked: Lovely property, didn?t realise how big it was going to be! Greeted by Simon who was absolutely lovely, always nice to have a friendly face around. Our apartment had more than what we needed! So close to town, such a great location.Large rooms, big beds, felt very homely. Slept amazing. Will definitely be back! Thank you guys!
Disliked: We stayed on a Saturday night so my only word of advise would be if you?re a light sleeper maybe ask for a room away from the busy Merrion Street. We turned the telly on and it drowned out the noise so didn?t bother us!Still slept absolutely fine!

A loud Thursday night
Liked: We arrived early and could leave our bags there. It was clean, spacious room and bathroom. Guest Wifi was down when it rained heavily, but we could use the pub's.Location is good, close to the centre, with public transport and lot of dining options.
Disliked: Loud music in the neighborhood until 3 am, on a Thursday night.
