Love the Waldorf. My only complaint is the costly in-room wireless. Meals are expensive, but I expected this. Rooms are spacious and staff is wonderful. The highlight is the Sunday brunch. My favourite New York hotel!

Liked: Beautiful rooms; excellent staff; spotless,
Disliked: Expensive wireless.

Phillip Fri, 2 December 2016

Liked: Loved how it's so centrally located to many of the wonderful sights of midtown Manhattan. Within walking distance to so many!
Disliked: The heater in the room was outdated and either blew too hot or cold. Service at the bar Peacock Alley was poor. We waited at our table for a long time and were never waited on. We finally just got up and left

Liked: Location History Lobby
Disliked: Room needs attention: particularly the bathroom as the paint is chipped, and has an overall unkempt look. The room needed more light. Needed a good cleaning. Previous guest had left cigarette butts in a glass inside the night stand. Hadn't been cleaned

Liked: Friendly staff, good location
Disliked: Not well maintained. I'm sure it once was great, not anymore. Plus it was dirty. There were used tissues and wrappers on the floor in my room when I checked in.

Amanda Wed, 19 October 2016

Liked: The bar and lobby area were beautiful and inspired a feeling of being a party of New York during an era when people dressed for the theater and took time to interact face to face with one another. We loved it!
Disliked: We were tempted by the ad on the television in our room to go to the deliciously described brunch but stayed over an a Friday and were disappointed that it was only offered on Sunday mornings.

Disliked: The air conditioning was on Max and it was 73 in room. The room next to use had employees coming in and out all day and night. The room had an odor of smoke all day and night. I had to go to a Marriott the last night because of above issues did not sleep.
