Liked: I was not charged for car parking, it was complimentary. Great stay and staff, lovely food.

Liked: Friendly staff across the hotel. Very welcoming atmosphere and comfortable tea room
Disliked: Wish they had a better quality of dinner options. The hotel staff did their best to compensate our dining experience. If they improve that, we would love to dine in again.

Liked: Location was good.
Disliked: Customers running around the hallway for 3/4 hours on the night, young girls blasting music and shouting all night. Kept us awake till 3:30/4:30 in the morning.Hot tub was shut as well, we was told the hot tub would be open, when we arrived got told it was closed.Didn't eat breakfast just wanted to leave to go home

Disappointed - dirty, cheapened, yet...

Liked: convenient location, friendly reception staff. BUT has deteriorated since a year ago, yet prices now 15%+ higher at same time of year for same time of week. AND NOW CHARGE £5 per night FOR PARKING on TOP of the room charge ! - wft?
Disliked: the bedroom smelled musty, all clothing unpacked now has to be washed, bathroom floor grouting broken, missing, mould on floor in grooves, cups stained, bath towels damp on arrival, corridors dirty, not vacuumed. Cheapened catering; no selection of fruit at breakfast, full cooked breakfast tepid, coffee now from concentrate in a machine; not real, tasted off. nothing to recommend.

Superb

Liked: A lovely, friendly, relaxed hotel. The staff are friendly and willing to help. They also helped with the car park (which I did pay). But they did advise me on how I can get the car park charged wavered for my next visit. I would recommend this hotel for their helpfulness alone.
