Disliked: Restaurant is a bit of a canteen feel and somewhat disorganised.

Lovely stay

Liked: Loves the location the rooms were spacious and lovely! Very cosy and clean.
Disliked: I didn’t like how the rooms were cleaned at different times so the day of checkout at 9 am could hear the cleaners and it almost felt like you needed to leave sooner than you needed to!

Exceptional

Liked: Very comfortable and clean room. Staff went out of their way to make us feel very welcome . Great location . We had a very nice breakfast with exceptional restaurant staff. Would definitely recommend.

Disliked: Shower head was broken and didn’t stay on the shower arm. Extractor fan didn’t work. Only three coat hangers for the room. We asked for extra but apparently no more were available in the whole hotel

Disliked: Dear managementI write with true disappointment in our stay. This is not like us as we have been visitor to Stow and all the local suburbs for years 19 to be exact, my husband worked in Kingham/Bledington for the Astors.Being of working background I totally understand hospitality and all that comes however, to be abruptly woken as though there was an earthquake occurring at 06:19am prompt then to continue for an hour there or less by the "Dray" our room notably on top of such cellar, is not acceptable. We were not notified of such activity on check in when surely you  know the delivery is due!!!I'm guessing you've seen our check in details where by we state its for pleasure, we are visiting/staying at your property, this translates into we work hard and I in particularly rise for work every weekday at 5am and was totally looking forward to this momentary break! Moreso for us we where scheduled to be away in Palma for the weekend as its my birthday weekend celebrations,however for health reasons my consultant advised me not to fly.
