Maybe should have stayed at...
Liked: The shower was very nice. The whirlpool bath was regular nice.
Disliked: The walls were thin and there was a creaking door just outside the room. The ceiling was very high and made the room seem kind of strange (and drab). There wasnt a refrigerator or microwave. There was no ice bucket.

The Inn is very hospitable...
Liked: The room was attractive, comfortable, and quiet, and the location was very good.
Disliked: There was no way to darken the room to my preference. There were no window blinds and a lot of hallway light spilled in under the door.

Great stay at Salem Inn
Liked: Location is excellent. One end of the Main Street, opposite the historical Witch House.
Our two room suite was perfect size. Comfortable beds and very clean. The style was fairly neutral, I would say homely.
It was quiet and easy to get a good night sleep.
Breakfast was served in the basement breakfast room. It was help yourself with assistance for omelettes. Coffee was good with options for decaf, tea etc. Very friendly breakfast staff. All in all, very nice
Parking was about 100yds. Short walk crossing road. This worked fine.
Loads to see in Salem and is easy to find out about. Highlights were ?Salem NIght Tour? and House of seven gables.
We also toured to Crane Beach, around 30 mins drive on backroads. Very nice and ideal to drop into Rockport on way back.
