Liked: Even in these challenging times we were able to celebrate my wife?s 60th birthday in the safe surroundings of this beautiful country inn. Great location, food, drink and bed.
Disliked: Nothing

Excellent overall, would stay again.

Liked: Whole ambience fantastic. Covid hygiene and procedure very good. Excellent food. Accommodation excellent, apart from being changed from 2 bedroom to 1 bed cottage at last minute.
Disliked: We were kept waiting until 15.20 to enter cottage after having lunch in the pub. Went for a long walk and then had to sit in car. Apparently accommodation had been ready for some time.??

Ideal for Goodwood and sure...

Liked: There was no breakfast! It started at 8 30 We were at Goodwood Speed Week and as most of customers were involved in that it was not a great decision to start breakfast half way through morning

Would return under happier circumstances.

Liked: The cottage was a perfect base for the visit to Chichester which unfortunately was for a funeral. Gave us the independence and space we needed, whilst also providing a lovely breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Although not the requested room the one given was very comfortable, well equipped large en suite. Food was lovely.
Disliked: Bed and pillows far too soft, kept rolling into each other. Did not get requested room though discount was given and free drinks. No milk for tea and coffee even though fridge in the room

Liked: The food was exceptional and the staff so helpful and friendly.
