We stayed for one night...

Liked: The location and facilities are great for someone looking to spend time in North Lakes. Especially if you have a family, the team can accommodate putting a cot in the room, as it happened with us.We had great things to do around the area, such as visiting t a farm with the kids, sightseeing ( Hadrian Wall etc) and it is a good getaway for 3 days.The staff was great and very kind.
Disliked: The room was so cold we ended up all getting a cold. The bedding was worn off and the pillows really stiff that we couldn't get comfortable at all.The breakfast was below average, and the dinner was just a disappointment. Definitely regret having dinner in house.The temperatures were off in the food , tooEither things were frozen coming directly from the fridge or crazy hot , coming directly from the oven

Liked: Lovely place, friendly staff, great food, beutiful views.Wonderful wedding or event location. There was an event on when we went, Roundthorn upgraded us to an apartment, it was beautiful and would be the perfect get away for anyone staying for a week or so. We have now booked a summer ball there and are looking forward to our next visit.
