Liked: Will reply when I leave this Friday, but so far hotel and staff very nice and friendly, originally booked from Monday till Friday,so would pass comments on Friday when I leave.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike would recommend hotel to stay in for discovering the town of Wisbech and surrounding area and explore.

Ideal for a cheap overnight...

Liked: good price, located in the centre of town and comfortable bed.
Disliked: very much needs some TLC. Rooms need decoration, new curtains and carpet. So much potential.

Disliked: Check by your self 307 , the view ,bed done 3 times in 12 days and twice I had to tell cleaners don’t inter as there is not signe ( do not disturb) usb plugs don’t work, extracting fan ,windows bathroom lock missing. I never left my documents there as of this .dirt look at pic and when I put towels in floor mean I need one. …… when I inform staff the answer is this hotel turning to working hotel even book from previous loggers and bin toilet did not been empty.

Great stay & value for...

Liked: I was wary of booking because of some poor reviews. The hotel is a very grand 400-year-old building with a lovely lobby area and many original features including grand staircase. Mario at the reception was friendly & let me check the room before I paid. I was very happy with the huge quiet, comfortable room. Clean, huge bathroom too. wifi good to work from laptopIt needs some attention in places & there is scaffolding in the central area. But I feel had a great stay, & it was huge value for money.I stayed an extra night & booked with Callum who is the early shift guy and was equally helpful.No food etc at the hotel, but a few takeaway places nearby.
Disliked: I can't complain for the price. my stay was good. would have actually liked to see the rest of the hotel as it looks like a beautiful building.

Great location in town centre...

Liked: Excellent value. Large room . Good Size bathroom. Lovely listed building with so much character and charm. Guy on reception was professional and welcoming. We booked late through work and check in was quick and easy. The room was very big and had everything I needed for the night. Looks to be under renovation at moment so didn't see bar or restaurant area.Ideal location in town centre.

Liked: My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in this unique hotel. Mario the manager and Callum at reception were really knowledgeable and helpful and could not do enough to help us. This is a very old property so you need to take that into account when staying and enjoy it for what it is. Thank you guys

Liked: Easy, comfortable and cheap and cheerful.
Disliked: Very basic, but that's ok.

Bad

Liked: The hotel in located in a heritage place. with proper maintaining it would be great. The 2 staff persons i have discussed were really nice and i feel for them to be let down by the cleaner and maintenance team.
Disliked: The bed sheet were having blood stain. The bathroom and bedroom room were not cleaned, there was some cereals stuck to the carpet, a soaked towel in the bathtub fool of blood, the bin had not been emptied, the desk was all sticky and a cup of smoked cigarettes butt left in a cup on the balcony. Well even if I can understand that is a budget hotel, cleanliness is the bare minimum. If I go to an hotel, it is expected that it will be cleaner than your own home. There was not hot water for shower in the morning. Ultimately this is legit for refund.
