I felt very welcome here...
Liked: The staff was great! Chef is amazing, the room was very comfortable. It felt good being here.
Disliked: Loud radiators, the one by the bed knocked very loud at times. Maybe it?s just not something I?m used to, so it seemed loud.

This was such a cozy...
Liked: The breakfast was excellent and we loved the jacuzzi! We were also pleased with the fact that we were given an extra fireplace log, a space heater, and an extra hour in the morning when the boiler went off. The complimentary bottle of wine was also a nice touch!

Something we won't be doing...
Liked: The location and the house was a really cool old house. The breakfast was good.
Disliked: When I checked in, they told me the room charge was going to be $22 higher than was agreed to at booking. Was supposed to be $125 and the charge was $146 at check-in. NEVER have I had that happen. That seemed absolutely ridiculous to me. The heat did not work, the only outlet in the room was in the bathroom and that did not work. There was a bar they had everything plugged into, probably a fire hazard. There was a really nice guy that came to fix the heat, and he did get the radiator working. He could not get the outlet in the bathroom working so gave us an extension cord and adaptor so we could use the blow dryer. Said there would be an adjustment to our charge...never happened. We plugged that cord into the bar that everything else was plugged into...:( This was our first bed and breakfast stay, and won't be doing it again. Big disappointment.

Liked: The breakfasts were superb: varied, nutritious, and well-presented (fruit, quiche, omelette, toast...). During the pandemic, the building--a converted mansion from the 1920s--has plenty of space for them to serve breakfast simultaneously in different rooms. Would definitely recommend.
Disliked: Our room--on the top floor--was comfortable, but rather severe in its furnishings. The period furniture is great, but the walls, mostly bare, could use some attention.

Liked: They zoomed over to let us in and explained in great detail expectations and offered suggestions for places to eat. Everyone was great during our visit. Would definitely recommend.

Liked: Beautiful turn of the century mansion in the affluent Mount Emerald residential district of Lincoln. We stayed in the spacious Banker?s Suite which included four rooms: a large bedroom, a quarter bathroom, a large room with a jacuzzi tub and shower and a sunroom that was magnificent. Our suite was so large we entertained friends comfortably, and at a social distance. Innkeeper,Melissa, and her family were dedicated to proving us with the best experience. Her recommendation for things to do and places to eat in Lincoln were outstanding.
Disliked: It was lovely and it is being made even more so.
