Comfy, with great Breakfast !

Liked: Breakfast was very good indeed ,and the French Gentleman, who served us was utterly charming. The room ,we were upgrade to was, spacious, somewhat impersonal, but comfortable. The Bath was a highlight,as I could fit in it,and a lot of baths seem to be getting smaller and smaller. Altogether a very comfy, one night stay, and it was in such a convenient place, for our purpose.
Disliked: The bathroom door was a little grubby, but I think it was a result of fair wear and tear.

Very comfortable enjoyable stay.

Liked: Beautiful old inn with comfortable rooms. Nice restaurant and bar areas. Staff were lovely. Nice touches like cold water in rooms, and huge fluffy towels Breafast was large, varied and beautifully cooked.
Disliked: Our room no 7 did not have stand under shower. The dinner menu was not great and didnt change in four nights.

Great hotel and would stay...

Liked: The welcome was superior to some 5 stars I have stayed in. The room was great but like all hotels (and especialy those that use Booking.com to entice you) it was above the kitchen not the near the lifts as sometimes is the case or out from where there is a pedestrian crossing to annoy all night. Booking direct is always good as it may get you the room you want but not the price. The price in this case include a copious and great quality breakfast in the price. The evening meal was great well presented and delivered noisy children aside hence not for romance or quiet atmosphre - the parents were as bad. Family business whc=ich showed in the care and attention from arrival to depature and the room decor. Great and would stay again.
Disliked: A little dark in the dining area luckily but that is being picky nothing stood out in fact rarely as we do a review this is about the good bits.
