Bad

Liked: The cottages are dilapidated, I couldn't even stay there for the night. I booked somewhere else and left. What a waste of my money

Disappointing

Liked: Food was brilliant both dinner and breakfast although there was a wedding on and we waited nearly 45 minutes to order food. We felt they were short staffed.
Disliked: Stayed for wedding anniversary. The room was very poor quality! Crack tiles in the bathroom, damp marks on the walls, sinking floor, whe we walked around the room the wardrobe wobbled. The best felt damp even tho we were in the middle of a heat wave. We paid £153.00 for one night very disappointed we stayed in the cottages by the river

Nice location but not as...

Liked: Food and staff, service was ok. Bathroom was fine.
Disliked: Wifi free but doesn’t work properly, room was advertised and booked as a luxury room, that was a fail. Room was small and not that clean.

Pleasant - 3.0 out of 5

David Thu, 19 June 2025

Pleasant

Liked: Great location and comfortable room. However food very average and I felt sorry for the friendly and helpful staff wrestling with a limited menu ( supper had no salads or summer offerings) and breakfast no fruits or cold anything other than pre cooked hot plate fried and grilled food although good poached eggs were offered. Obviously good for big events but lacks the individual touch
Disliked: See above
