Friendly staff and great meals.

Liked: Staff were very welcoming and helpful.Room was comfortable and clean.Breakfast and dinner were great and served by friendly staff.
Disliked: The exterior of the hotel and car park could do with a spruce-up. It was a pleasant surprise to step into reception and find the outside of the hotel did not reflect the inside.

Disliked: A little bit dated and due to the original windows there was a bit of outside noise

Nice hotel, friendly staff but...

Liked: The room was nice and the breakfast was nice.
Disliked: We had no hot water at all during our stay. The restaurant was closed the day we were there but not stated on the website that it closed Mondays and Tuesdays. We found the breakfast to be expensive for what we had.

Overall met requirements.

Liked: Comfortable bed mattress and coffee /tea making facilities. Clean room service.Good bar service and friendly staff on reception and in restaurant.Food very good.
Disliked: Toilet layout - bowl too close to bath and unsteady. No hot water coming through in sink, and several minute wait for hot bath water. No dinner service on Tuesday.Bed base needs replacing.

Definitely overpriced for the rooms,...
