Liked: Great staff, all very friendly and welcoming. Food was lovely, we had an evening meal and breakfast. Very comfortable room. We would definitely come back and would recommend to others.

Lovely place

Liked: Clean and tidy. Very Covid-19 aware too. The food was excellent, and the staff were all extremely friendly. Shame we only had time for a one night stay. Will be back. We had the Christmas menu, they also do an interesting line in an Xmas pizza.
Disliked: There is nothing to fault the Plough Inn.

Braised Beef Short Ribs

Liked: Comfortable accommodation and incredibly tasty food! The pub has very good COVID-19 measures in place as the tables are widely spaced and there is plenty of alcohol gel throughout the public areas. Highly recommended.

Liked: Passable room with tea and biscuits.
Disliked: Probably a bad time to review due to covid. We arrived, it was pouring with rain. Rang the buzzer twice, no one came, rang the number and was asked were we the people who were just buzzing? Young girl came with our key, no mask on. We were wearing ours. Gave us the key. We were told they were not doing food but there were take aways in the next village. On our email confirmation it said we booked B&B, no breakfast though. Room OK, beds creaked, a little noise from the road.

Will keep coming back

Liked: Great little hotel and pub, good location for my work needs but would be fine for a commute into Norwich. Room was spotless, tea and biscuits all provided, very comfortable. Food was fresh and very nice. All the staff are very helpful, always smiling and do their best for you. For the price you cannot complain at all.
Disliked: If I am really hunting for an issue, the bathroom floor can be a bit dangerous if not careful. A foot towel is provided for stepping out the shower but if your feet are slightly wet after stepping off the towel be careful its slippery. I learn't the hard way!
