Rooms were disappointing

Liked: The location was good
Disliked: The mattress wasn’t very comfortable. Every morning we were woke by a really loud humming noise, sounded like pipes or shower motor. This happened several times each day. There wasn’t many coat hangers, no box of tissues or complementary biscuits that you get with your tea/coffee. We had a sky light/window in our room that people could look down into so wasn’t very happy. To be honest I wouldn’t class it as a 4star at all. Very disappointed

Liked: Good central location, easy to walk to places. Really lovely lady who checked us in.
Disliked: We had to go and look for staff each time we wanted another drink or anything from the bar. We also had to wait to get a drink because there was not someone there waiting for us to serve.

Liked: Great location and great staff. The room itself was small but very cute.
Disliked: Bed was a bit hard.

Lovely overnight stay

Liked: Breakfast was really good. Staff very friendly
Disliked: Didn't realise we would be on the top floor in attic room with no lift. Never thought to say when booking that my husband is awaiting a knee replacement and struggling with stairs so not the hotels fault.

Disliked: Tbh, and I hate to say it, I could have stayed just along the road in one of the better budget hotels and it would have been the same. P
