Liked: Lovely location, lots of facilities to access
Disliked: No staff within the lodge until evening, bed had no pillowcases, night porter super unhelpful, expected me to sleep on pillows without cases, looked like he couldn’t be bothered as I’d interrupted him playing on his phone.Windows need cleaning, dead spiders in the crevices, very hot and unable to open windows enough to get air in.Great bathroom.

Basic but very comfortable

Liked: I was expecting basic from the ad. It was basic but it was much nicer than I expected. Very comfortable. Staff were helpful when there was a slight room mix up at the beginning. It was sorted in 2 mins.
Disliked: A little bit of a paint job here and there and it would make such a difference.

Disliked: Well to start with everywhere was shut up so we were not sure what to do and how to get into our room the tv would not work and the girl did not know the password code for it so there was no telly also the batteries in the controller were corroded and this didn’t just happen and there was no soap in the hand dispenser at the sink we told this all to the girl on the reception at the leisure centre but she did not know what to do either so a little sad …only minor things but could have made the stay that much better and last but not least the air conditioning generator on the outside was on all night and the noise we found kept us awake we love fresh air and waking up to hear the birdsong which we could only just hear over the noise which was very sad if you wanted to have a good night sleep This is not a bad complaint it’s just the little things could have made the stay …..not only much better.
