Liked: Great location in historic pub with air conditioning. We had to check in late (after midnight) due to our flight being delayed. The manager sent a video explaining exactly how to get into the property. Made it very easy. Would definitely recommend.
Disliked: Parking was somewhat limited

Clean, friendly and comfortable with...

Liked: Located in old Hemel, 5 minutes drive from the hospital. I parked on the street at the back, on the street as I was advised to when I booked with no issues.It’s a characterful place with access to nice independent restaurants, historic buildings a few doors along, with a big park a short walk away. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and spacious, had AC and a very comfy bed. Nice eggs and coffee in the morning, and easy check out.
Disliked: Not a lot, it was really nice. Obviously due to location the parking is limited. I tried the car park up the street, but wasn’t sure if I could leave my vehicle there overnight. Fortunately there was street parking at the back, as I had been advised there could be.Perhaps a little more info about the parking options?

Advice is to avoid

Liked: Bed was very comfortable and in a great location. Modern furniture inside too.
Disliked: No hot water for the duration of stay, we were unable to shower. We were told an engineer was coming and no one came, neither did the staff to give us an update! Whilst we did get a partial refund and free round of drinks, this was quite poor from the staff. Stains on carpets and not really that clean overall, the toilet makes an awful loud sound when anyone in the other rooms flushes.

Liked: While the rooms are a bit dated, the bed was comfortable and breakfast was 'of the scale' - it was quality.The location is great, staff were EXCELLENT, friendly helpful and chilled.For the amount they charge the place is excellent value for money!
