Geoff H, Bury, visiting Lord's Cricket Ground Mon, 7 July 2014

A 10 minute walk from Lords, this small, but cosy venue is ideal for any visit to the ground. In fact, probably ideal for any visit to London. On the north side of Regents Park, a 30 minute walk from Euston Station, and close to 2 underground stations, in a nice, quiet area. Excellent.

Liked: Cleanliness; quality of food and drink; entertainment - all excellent.
Disliked: Shower soap dispenser not working.

Suzie E, Oxford, visiting Roundhouse Camden Wed, 31 July 2013

We didn't have the breakfast, nor dinner - so I cannot comment on the food. But the tea/coffee tray was very welcome in the room. Biscuits would be the icing on the cake!

Liked: They have done a good job, turning these rooms into nice 'boutique style' bedrooms. Handy for the Roundhouse where we were going (15 minutes slow walk across Primrose Park) and in a nice quiet area.
Disliked: The only really negative point is a lack of hairdryer in the room - and properly fitting windows would have been nice. Some way of announcing yourself on arrival would be good, so the guest doesn't have to stand in line at the bar with a lot of thirsty men on a hot afternoon!

Overrated and overpriced.

Liked: The best thing about the New Inn is the location, it really is in a lovely part of London near bus and tube stops.
Disliked: The staff were indifferent, the atmosphere poor. No breakfast available, no live music, despite being advertised. No friendly welcome and just a really boring pub with staff who just want to clock on and clock off again. I had terrible problems with the key to get upstairs to the accommodation and the barman promised to get me a new key but never did. This did not live up to it's reputation that it gained by being on the TV show "Four in a bed". Really disappointing and completely overpriced. I would not stay here again.

Good location but noisy area.

Liked: Staff lovely & okay room.good situation only 10 mins to St. John?s Wood tube.eateries good nearby.
Disliked: Loud banding of 3 door anytime anyone came in or out at night.even at 2-4am .doesn?t guarantee a good nights sleep .room 5 close to generator noise that doesn?t switch off until 4.15am.impossible to sleep through. Pub ok shame about a regular patron with bearish kid hitting her & foul language of mother. Other patrons lovely. Could do with update. No brandy avail either when buying a drink???? Shame. Noisy other lads coming in at 3-4am wouldn?t shut up very loud.

Liked: Very convenient to our stay, walking distance to Lord?s Cricket Ground. Slept for 7 hours which was fantastic
Disliked: Just a little on the warm side , water pipes were hot so that didn?t help when it was 24 degrees

disappointing, embarrassing, overpriced, very poor...

Liked: The room was fine.
Disliked: Breakfast was not available although it clearly states it is on the web site. We booked a table for 4 at lunch at 1pm, the table became available at 2:30pm#!!!! My guests were very dissapointed.. we were told that we could check in at 2 and leave our bags in a safe place at 9am. Nobody was there to take our bags at 9am, we called back at 10:30qm and the cleaner was there to take our bags she said she would put them in a safe place. We went back to our table booking at 1pm and our bags were in the lounge area surrounded by 50 customers!!!!

Liked: Only a 8 minutes walk from st john's wood station. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was fine too. Quiet street during the night. The owner offered a drink on arrival.

Good option near Zoo and...

Liked: Staff were super friendly and helpful. Location was exactly where we needed to be. Beds were comfortable. Price for London in summer was reasonable.
Disliked: Didn't realize there was no breakfast option available on site. Only problem with this place was that. Had to walk to local shopping area and find breakfast outside, which was inconvenient and needlessly expensive as a result.
