Superb
Liked: The room was lovely very spacious and clean the bed was very comfortable, however my daughter found the pull out sofa very uncomfortable and didn't sleep well , the pool was lovely and quiet and relaxing and the breakfast was wonderful
Disliked: My only complaint would be the people upstairs where extremely loud but that isn't the fault of the hotel itself

Very good
Liked: Really nice room and facilities.Every staff member was very helpful and kind
Disliked: Restaurant was too expensive for what we got. We ordered two burgers which came without any sides for £17 each ( only burger) . And the fries were just frozen ones from the bag which cost £4 I don't think worth the money. I think I was unhappy as I was expected for that price to be freshly made. I don't mind to pay for the food if it's quality but I just felt for what it was it was expensive. Left £70 for 2 burgers 2 sides and a glass of wine + tip.

Rather poor standard
Liked: Breakfast
Disliked: Pool closed due to high chlorine levels. This was the reason for booking this hotel then this facility was unavailable.Beds uncomfortable Door to the porch broken reported on arrival but nothing done!

Great hotel for a short...
Liked: Great location, good facilities and extremely good staff. Told they were overbooked despite having booked in January, didn’t accept.
Disliked: Some areas could do with a refresh e. g dining area and room.

Disappointing
Liked: Good location, easy parking, bed was comfortable and nice bar
Disliked: On arrival the member of staff was not welcoming. We got asked about booking breakfast when we’d already pre-booked and had a confirmation. We were checked in but were not told where any facilities were, for example, the bar, breakfast area and rooms. The cistern for the toilet in our room was constantly running noisily and the flush didn’t work properly. The room was not clean - marks on the floor, a few hairs on the bed sheet.The ceiling had paint hanging off and the room was run down. On checking out, the member of staff (Sunday 3rd March at 11am) was rude. She didn’t asked how our stay was. She told us we had an outstanding bill for the parking and breakfast. We told her that we had already paid for parking on arrival and then had to show this as confirmation, for her to believe this. We also explained that we had pre-booked breakfast for a discounted rate but she wouldn’t accept this, and just printed off an invoice that we had to pay. She was unfriendly. We explained about the cistern in our room and her reply was ‘thank you’. We were not impressed with the lack of customer service, manners and run down room.

Great location awful hotel if...
Liked: The location
Disliked: The receptions wasn’t very helpful when the key card stop working she just asked name and room no apology on it not working just very bluntWe had to put up with how loud the general hotel was every floor board creaked and door slam you could hear. We could hear the people above us getting ready and their tv/music at 6am which is fair enough they were probably just getting up and out for the day. But I shouldn’t have been able to hear every word, they weren’t even shouting. So on top of this we then went out for the day, returned to a letter asking us to keep the noise down between 11pm-7am when we were not even the people making noise. I also found it insulting that a hotel with such bad sound proofing would have the audacity. We went for dinner that evening returned at 10pm and slept until 6am when we were woken from above. Astonishing! But not just that but to return also to our room not being made up which was bad as the day we arrived we had to ask for towels as there wasn’t enough and the whole duration we had an empty body wash. The bathroom has so much mould. The towels were ragged and the bed had questionable stains on it. There was a regular aroma of weed, people were smoking it right outside the hotel doors and at time we could smell it in our room and I think people were smoking indoors and it coming through the AC. I mentioned all of these things to reception but the guy seemed new and timid and I just got a ‘sorry’ and I knew I wasn’t going to get anywhere.
