Liked: Location near station and attractions
Disliked: We was in a superior room but was very noisy early morning as the boiler were in a cupboard outside the door and the staff were very noisy outside our room banging around so did not get much sleep

Liked: Breakfast, attentive staff, comfortable bed.
Disliked: Was disturbed by a false fire alarm, attributed to steam from the bathroom in another guest's room. Throughout our stay, including the time the alarm was sounding, the door of the linen room on our escape route was wedged open, whether or not a staff member was present. This was an obvious hazard.

Excellent base to explore Salisbury...

Liked: Location close to everything we wanted. Staff were friendly.
Disliked: Classic king room was too basic. The bed was hard, there were no drawers for clothes, the very small hanging space (30cm?) was largely taken up by an ironing board and iron.No place to lay a suit case flat. Would refer the hotel to Premier Inn hub rooms for the ingenious use of space.The menu for dinner was specialist seafood such as lobster but nothing else. Having said that , there are many restaurants, pubs, and cafes very close by so not an issue for us.

Liked: Location was near the city centre. The old building had character. Breakfast included a good selection of cooked food with eggs cooked to order.
Disliked: We had a basic room, which was just that. The bathroom was adequate but awkward to control the shower head and to prevent the shower water from spraying out of the bath despite the glass screen. Hotel car parking is limited and we had to find alternative arrangements nearby.
