Stayed with three other friends for the weekend; the location is great; the staff is great; the room was fine (two double beds, which suited our needs). No problems with cleanliness that we observed. Walking distance to multiple places and subway access.

Liked: Staff was very helpful; good location; guest lounge was nice; comfy beds; clean.
Disliked: Problems with the heat.

Won?t be back

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: It was nothing like expected from research on internet or photos. Room wasExtremely small and bathroom smaller yet! NO room for anything. No where for toiletries or even the blow dryer . Extremely noisy. So noisy we thought a window was opened! we never thought being on the 2nd floor and on corner of 3rd would b so loud ...apparently windows were not soundproof so until 3am had to listen to traffic and people on the street. Was not greeted very friendly when arriving either.

Nice but about 4x too...

Liked: Checked in late but thankfully there was someone there to check us in. Extremely small hotel.
Disliked: Room was nice but really really teeny! Fortunately the ceilings were at least 12 ft high which helped with the claustrophobia. Price was exorbitant at over $500 for the night. Room was just large enough for you to sideways walk around the bed but there was a little area for a desk and the bathroom was large. Not much in the way of amenities but we really appreciated the two bottles of water. Pictures on website are deceiving as it seemed to us as though it was more of a full service hotel. It isn't. Just a nice entryway and desk with couch, then up elevators thru small hallways to small rooms. Our room was decorated just like the one online though but skillful use of angles and fisheye lenses made it look like a normal sized hotel room which it wasn't. I really did appreciate the parking garage down the street, however. It was just a short walk to drop off/pick up the car.

Great staff at the Marcel

Liked: Amazing beds among the most comfortable I?ve slept in and superb staff who were helpful and friendly and accommodating - insanely nice people.
Disliked: Too costly when compared to nearby hotels with much better facilities. No restaurant or bar except a bare bones guest lounge on the rooftop.

Not what we expected

Liked: The location was great The staff were lovely
Disliked: The rooms were too small, we had to move from the first room allocated to us and the second room as the same size only it looked out onto the road instead of a duct pipe !! Apparently they were standard rooms
