Disliked: Well beyond expectations, most attention to detail ever seen in a boutique hotel. Have stayed all over the world, best yet.

Wonderful experience

Liked: Soon as you walk in there's this modern charm in the lobby with beautiful ornate furniture and a cozy vibe. The manager (Chris) met us on arrival and was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was absolutely gorgeous. The color coordination and furniture type give it a ritzy feel with very comfortable space for lounging. The bar area has different glasses for drink types and has complimentary snacks and drinks which is appreciated. The tv is huge and they have speakers to listen to music. The rooms are actually soundproof as advertised. The bathroom is stunning, the tub can fit two people comfortably and it feels like a spa day with the layout and the bidet and gorgeous sinks. It made for the perfect honeymoon spot. The cafe downstairs made amazing breakfast and beverages. Chris is a phenomenal manager, he speaks to you and calls you by name adding a personal touch and makes sure you feel welcome and is very accommodating and wants to make sure you're having a great experience. We had an incredibly two night stay here and I can't say enough good things about it.

Liked: Everything. Specially the staff. They were super comprehensive with a problem in my reservation and they attended me with perfection.

Double booked

Liked: My wife and I had stayed there on our honeymoon and were excited about spending Valentines day there.
Disliked: Unfortunately I arrived and my room was occupied. It was double booked. So I left. They said they would contact me about giving me a complimentary stay for my troubles. I haven?t heard from them yet. Staff was very apologetic.

Liked: It is a wonderful stay. The location is very convenient and you could easy to go sightseeing and shopping. St. John's is loverly and Luxus is perfect. I do enjoy this stay!
