Disliked: The room I was initially given was the smallest hotel room I've ever been in. I spent 2 nights at the Long Room and on the first morning was covered in bedbug bites. I checked the mattress and could see it had a number of dead bedbugs. The manager gave me a refund for the first night and transferred me to another room for the second.

Upon arrival should have explained what to do in case of emergency or where to exit.Upon arrival, if you wanted food and drink where to go information would be helpful.Where to leave you keys when to leave or the procedure if this would have been helpful.

Liked: Location was good. Though not as close totube as made out in listing
Disliked: Where to start...Bed mattress was was comfortable but there were lots of hairs that Def weren't mine. TV is in wrong position for the bed,, it's the wrong way round. One single Flat pillow. Room itself is adequate price for size. Shower, still more hairs and I didn't trust the cleanliness. The reason being that there is a skylight window above the shower/sink area, this was covered with what I believe was pigeon poo and some feathers. I'm pretty sure that in such a closed off space this can't be good to be breathing in. There is a shared toilet - I completely missed that when reading the details. The toilets weren't clean at all absolutely disgusting, so they are not checked/cleaned in the day/night.There is also no blind or curtain on that window. So be ready to be woken up by it. It's also a very warm room at the very top of the building with little ventilation. All in all I think I managed to sleep about 3hrs. I wouldn't stay there again!. My standards are pretty low and this is the first time I've really wished I'd booked somewhere else

Liked: Good location,friendly staff,room had everything needed.
Disliked: Toilet on the landing and all night long the air con running from downstairs kitchen,which made quite a noise. That was disturbing,but with the heat I understood the situation.

Just terrible

Liked: The staff in the bar were friendly and appeared helpful but a promised refund never arrived. The car park was handy.
Disliked: The room I booked hadn't been cleaned. I was given a different room with no toilet. The place was superficially clean but extremely run down. The place was cheap and I fully expected to compromise but bed was inexcusably terrible with springs sticking out of the mattress, the host promised a refund which has never been paid and is completely unavailable - messages never answered, phone just goes to voicemail. Definitely a place to avoid.
