Very good

Liked: Room was very clean. The bed was firm and no bedbugs. The view from the 11th floor room overlooking Park Avenue was very nice with open sky view above and the street noise was tolerable. Location was within easy walking distance to Grand Central Station and to a great Japanese restaurant called Wokuni. The water kettle in the room made it possible for us to have tea and coffee anytime we wanted and our requests for more tea bags, etc. were promptly met.
Disliked: Environmentally unfriendly: (i) Guests should be given an option to keep using the same towels (i.e. towel-exchange-decline-option) and to still get simple room cleaning service such as emptying trash and replenishing teabags; (ii) Shampoo, conditioner and body soap should be in mounted dispensers rather than in small throwaway tubes. Hotel entrance security: (i) Hotel entrance doors and elevators to rooms do not have any electronic card operated systems; (ii) We came back late at night on all 3 nights (around 11 pm) and on all those nights there was no door man, one of those nights there was nobody sitting at the front desk and another night the person sitting at the front desk was talking on the phone and did not even look at us. There was a daily charge for the hotel/room WiFi service.
