Beautiful room. Great breakfast. Was...

Liked: Beautifully decorated cosy room. Large tv lots of plug sockets. Breakfast was lovely. Great free parking. Biscuits with the tea/coffee in room. The parking directions provided were unclear....the car park looks like residential parking. Go past the pub on your left. Turn left at the end of the road and parking is just there at an entrance on your left. The pub gives you a ticket to put in your car.
Disliked: Group of lads loud shouting / singing in another language outside late at night who were at outside seating. Knew it was a lively pub but maybe a sign outside at seating saying be aware of people staying over...it was very loud shouting and pretty late by then. Hand drier from loos below going off loud every few minutes....maybe look at a quieter one. Room 19.

Fabulous find!

Liked: The Kings Arms was fantastic. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room was just stunning, very tastefully decorated. Lovely bed and super shower. The public rooms were decorated in an amazing way, lovely pieces to see. Free parking was a bonus too. We went out for a wonder around and some food, it was Sunday so carvery at lunchtime] When we got back there was a great band playing, free entertainment too!!! The breakfast was stunning. Would highly recommend this lovely B & B in a lovely pub.
Disliked: Nothing

A bit noisy, but otherwise...

Liked: Convenient location. Great breakfast.
Disliked: The room was very tired and needs a bit of TLC . When I moved the blind to open the window it was full of cobwebs (a lot) also no shower, just a bath... ?

Surprisingly quirky!

Liked: A lovely hotel/pub, extremely friendly and helpful staff, an absolute asset. Very clean, original, and lots of little touches - biscuits with the tea/coffee in your room. Highly recommend.

Very good

Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious (especially scrambled eggs) although breakfast options unclear and ordered in advance. Decor great and in keeping with it's heritage. Location was excellent admidst boutique shops, a walk or bus ride downhill to Swindon town centre. Parking was handy at the rear of the hotel. Mattress was comfortable although bedframe not so much.
Disliked: Stairs to the bedroom were steep but it is an historic building. It is a happening place which meant late night revellery which was a little intrusive with the windows open because of the warm weather.
