The best hotel in Jackson.
Liked: Friendly staff, good guestroom visiting, breakfast or conference if needed, clean & unique."I would recommend this hotel and I definitely will be staying there again. Affordable, helpful, caring, fun and relaxing best place to stay with a great local location to everything you'll need. The options of room styles and cabins options was the hardest decision about the hotel, but I love that this hotel has many options depending on your family or party during your vacation. The hotel staff service is attentive and resposive." With inviting Smiles and very helpful with location information and things to do or places to visit during our stay with their hotel.The perfect way to begin our stay.The rooms offer as much light or curtains that close out all lights depending on what your need of lighting is. "The room was very clean. It is worth mentioning." "Comfortable bed with four pillows" They had all the comforts of home. They offer a waffles, coffee, tea along with a few other items. "The mountain views is breathtaking early morning. At night a little campfire like setting with lights and chairs for a easy setting for songs and marshmallows as you wind down for the evening with family and other guest. Perfect way to end the day. As a local myself and knowing other hotels around Jackson this is the best overall hotel.
Disliked: The hotel is getting a up dated look on the outside so they have friendly workers painting but it's hardly noticeable. But the inside of rooms have been up dated already with new stylish furniture and furnishings. As a thing I didn't like I really can't say painting was a problem because it's part of the new owners process to better the hotel for future stays and its only temporary.

We didn't stay
Disliked: Filthy... the stink of urine - in the bedroom..made me want to gage!Looked like several had trimmed their butt holes on the bathroom floor and around the base of the grotesque pee stained toilet!

Warm and cozy rooms, friendly...
Liked: We enjoyed the Deluxe Bungalow during our stay over Thanksgiving. The room was warm and cozy. We were able to have a complete dinner in the room as it has a fully equipped kitchen and dining room table. We also enjoyed the fireplace and deck. The new owners and staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were a little slow on responding to request, but always came through. I highly recommend this establishment.
Disliked: They are in the process of upgrading the motel and we can't wait to see it when it's done.

Hope for better organization

Disliked: Bottom line, based on my experience, I believe the hotel or booking.com should refund our money for many reasons. And it would be the right thing to do to give my family a free stay for a future date as well. Worst hotel experience in my entire life. There wasn't anything I liked but was just happy for the room on a holiday. Very displeased when I called ahead to inform the facility of our arrival time and the told me I didn't have a room or a reservation. I told them I better have a room because I had a confirmation number and he said they cancelled all the reservations because they're new owners and remodeling. He then offered me another room 30 minutes away from where we needed to be the next day. I told him no. I needed a room that I reserved. He then said he could give me a cottage in the back and he'd run over and clean it before out arrival. The property is old and needs the updates on every aspect of the rooms from floor to ceilings and wall to wall. No amount of cleaning would remove the stains from old carpet. Extra blankets in closet both had foreign Dirty unidentifiable spots on them. Stained bathtubs, low water pressure and Luke warm shower at best. Dirty walls. Burn marks on counter. The entire room felt old and dirty. But we had no choice but to stay or we'd have been sleeping in our car. The faculty was not anything like the photos offered when I made the reservation on line. I asked why he didn't call me and tell me he cancelled our reservation from booking.com and he said he tried to call but I didn't answer. I informed him I had zero missed calls or voicemails from the facility. And I had no cancellation notice from Booking.com. I was unpleased with the entire experience and having my room cancelled without notice. But I will say he was nice when we arrived. Even the front lobby was a disaster mess.
