Superb central accommodation with excellent...

Liked: Although we had an initial issue with our room the staff responded exceptionally and moved us immediately to a better room. The hotel was clean, had character and was very conveniently located for central Edinburgh. staff were always very friendly and always went out of their way to ensure your stay was first class.
Disliked: Nothing

Disliked: Hotel we booked was not available - we received no phone call to notify us of this, and only found out when we arrived at Edinburgh. An email had been sent to us to advise us of change of hotel and management just assumed that we would have seen and read this. Had we of known about the change of hotel we would have booked elsewhere (we had a cancellation fee free booking) as the 'sister' hotel we were put in was an additional 15min walk from city centre.We asked for reduction in cost, or free breakfast, but nothing offered in way of compensation - I would advise anyone considering booking with this hotel group to look elsewhere.
