booking.com specify better rooms than...

Liked: The room we booked via booking.com was not the room we were allocated. we booked their largest room which was shown as a cottage, with a full living room and kitchen. we ended up in room 208 which was basically a king size room. when we pointed this out on departure the receptionist failed to knowledge the system error and said it was our misunderstanding. we called booking.com and they confirmed the room we had been sold was different to the room we received. had they not said it was our fault we probably would not have complained.
Disliked: the attitude of the reception person on check out. we tried to explain the mixup and she made it clear it was not their fault but our fault. this was not acceptable. I then found we had been charged twice for our stay and are now having to obtain a refund. the whole experience has been bad from start to finish.
