Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Tom, Bridgewater, NJ Tue, 6 August 2013

It would have been nice if a large chain like Ramada could see fit to put an extra blanket in the closet. When I called to report that BOTH ice machines were broken and OUT of ice, the desk guy was rather indifferent. When we checked out, the desk guy never asked how everything was. He wasn't very friendly. This reflects poorly on Ramada. When one spends $200 on a room, one expects little things like ice. We will never go back to this joint.

Liked: We got a room near the top, as requested.
Disliked: No ice! On check out, the guy at the desk never asked how our stay was!

Good

Liked: Clean rooms, friendly attentive staff.
Disliked: Breakfast was pathetic and cost saving on their part. Can hardly call that a continental breakfast.

Less than average.

Liked: Everything was clean.
Disliked: The room was small, no chair. Bed was a tight fit-no room on either side. Bathroom no place to put things down. They advertised coffee in room but do not offer it.

Good location, rubbish breakfast.

Liked: The dining room resembled a prison. The food was doughnuts and muffins and everything was sweetened. Sliced white bread, no brown or whole meal.
Disliked: No natural yogurt only sweetened strawberry and peach. Plastic cutlery, paper plates and cups. Disgusting cereal.only fresh fruit was apples or bananas but couldn?t cut apple as cutlery was plastic. Shower designed to spray everything and everywhere

Room was wonderful - once...

Liked: Hotel room was simple and elegantly decorated. Spacious. We loved the pizza place across the street - so much so that we went there two nights in a row!
Disliked: On the first night we were put into the unrenovated floor of the hotel which was dated and grotty. The check in staff were short and rude. I was charged twice for the room - and the check in lady did not want to listen to what had happened- and instead be defensive and patronising. Thankfully I kept my signed invoice - so she had to retract fast when I provided it. Waste of time and frustrating.

Easy, Convenient and Friendly Service...

Liked: The location is great. Close to all my events and meeting around the UN. The staff are super friendly and coureous. The bed was very comfortable. Orange juice at breakfast was awesome.
Disliked: There wasn't hot water at night. Glasses for drinking water in the bathroom would be a nice touch. Or a complementary bottle of water.
