Disappointing - 2 out of 5

Tom, Bridgewater, NJ Tue, 6 August 2013

It would have been nice if a large chain like Ramada could see fit to put an extra blanket in the closet. When I called to report that BOTH ice machines were broken and OUT of ice, the desk guy was rather indifferent. When we checked out, the desk guy never asked how everything was. He wasn't very friendly. This reflects poorly on Ramada. When one spends $200 on a room, one expects little things like ice. We will never go back to this joint.

Liked: We got a room near the top, as requested.
Disliked: No ice! On check out, the guy at the desk never asked how our stay was!

Wonderful week

Liked: Great staying in New York. The location of the Hotel it?s great, near Times Square, Empire State, Gran Central, etc. The room was spacious and always very clean, the bathroom is huge with a big shower cabin! Coffee and tea available in the entrance. I totally recomend this !

Very good

Liked: It was a great location in Midtown around a lot of good food joints!
Disliked: There was construction happening next door but it?s kinda out of their control. Also the walls are very thin and on our first night the room next to us was very loud and yelling over our tv.

Good

Liked: In general, It?s a good hotel. The property have a good location, the room was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: The costumer service is poor. There is not an attitude to clarify or help with a smile. The coffee of the reception was really bad and they have construction workers in the middle of the welcome area. This was inappropriate. Small details should be important.

Good

Liked: -Location was great in midtown Manhattan. Close to Koreatown (if that?s something you?re looking for) and a short subway ride from many of the major attractions. It?s also quiet at night which is a plus. -Room is clean & warm. Shower is great. -Bed is super comfy.
