Worth the stay if you want to save some cash, but you're getting what you pay for. Don't expect anything on par with a modern hotel. Tube TV, no microwave, condensed rooms, shower and toilet within an inch of each other, old heater/AC and walls lacking insulation to name a few.

Liked: Historic building they're slowly renovating; very cheap for the area; breakfast.
Disliked: Very thin walls; uncomfortably tiny bathroom; questionable neighborhood; stiff/noisy bed; A/C didn't work.

Thanks so much for your attention and kindness; we had a good time there.

Liked: Very good.

I would not stay here again for FREE. The room was filthy, small, and weirdly spaced (like, the toilet was right on top of the half-shower, and the half-shower was a slip-and-fall waiting to happen). The service was horrible. They had two settings: hostile and apathetic. The "breakfast" (basically cold bagels and bad juice) was $13 per person, and parking (non-valet), on the open roof with no security, was another $13 per night. I would have rather stayed in my car. I have never been so glad to leave a hotel in my life.

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: Everything - the check-in process was confusing and hostile. The staff was apathetic at best, and appeared to prefer to argue than converse with a paying guest. As I never got an answer when dialing either maid service OR the front desk, the phone was useless.

Disliked: I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Got to be one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. Very disappointed.

Liked: Didn't smell that bad, front desk was nice.
Disliked: Stains on the walls, huge stains (plural) on the rug, had a hard red stain on my pillow, food leftover in the fridge from previous guests, calcium buildup on all bathroom pipes, too much to list all.

Liked: Close to downtown
Disliked: A major disappointment. If "Historic" means "Dump" then it's definitely historic. I paid a premium rate, and the hotel looked terrible. The elevators are literally duct-taped together. No amenities at all. Charged for parking (their garage)and breakfast.

Liked: Hotel was great but it doesn't have independent a/c- heater system so room was in the 80's at night and couldn't cool it down. Had maintenance check it out and said the heat comes on for the whole building and that's the temp it is set at.
Disliked: Was on 12th floor so window was bolted shut. Was so hot I barely slept and contemplated just driving home. Will never stay there again it was way to hot in room

Pleasant - 3.0 out of 5

Liked: Clean, new and modern in-room amenities
Disliked: Room was extremely small, especially the bathroom, which was very difficult to move within. There was no room for my toiletries, nor any room to place or hand towels. The hotel is under construction, lacking food and drink service. Parking too expensive.

Disliked: Everything. Horrible location. Being remodeled. Dark. Shabby. Old. No restaurants of food of any kind on premises or anywhere nearby. Scary place. Looks nothing like the pictures.

Disliked: The construction, but can't wait for the restaurant/bar to open. I would stay here again any time.
