Enjoyable except for the parking...

Disliked: I was disappointed that you had to pay $17 each day to park.

Our pleasure

Liked: We have stayed at the GW approximately 8 times. Love the accommodations, location and friendly staff. This time it was only a one night visit but will return whenever we are able for several days.

Very pleasant stay with restaurants...

Liked: Colonial decor, friendly and efficient staff, location, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated room.
Disliked: Have to pay for parking in their lot.

Disappointing

Liked: The room was nice and clean
Disliked: They don't include parking and don't have nearly enough, although they make it sound like they do. Their overflow is actually with the city lot. They make it sound like it is going to be exactly the same price as their lot - $15. But it's not the city garage charges by the hour and if you stay at a hotel overnight the city counts it as two nights. So it's a little misleading to show people on the sign it's the same. But I also specifically asked this at check out, whether I'd we stayed overnight we wouldn't be charged for two days at the city garage and was told no. That is just downright lying. So when we check out and go to pay the parking and it's more than we were told that leaves us with a bad taste in our mouthsAlso, couldn't get it cool enough.

Liked: Location was good.
Disliked: Put Do No Disturb on door and staff came in anyway. Check out is at 11:00am - day of check out went to get breakfast and came back to our room (at 10:00am) and it was emptied, sheets gone, towels gone, and our food that was in the fridge thrown in the trash.

I would not recommend this...

Liked: Staff very polite. Food very good.It was very clean.
Disliked: It was very cold. You could NOT put the heat at more than 73 F and in the elevator and the common areas it was si cold, and you could not even warm yourself in your room.The pool was dangerous; it was easy to hurt yourself because of the 4 pillars and the stairs. There was NO shower in the pool area and no lockers!!The spa was "temporarily" closed...
