Overpriced Budget Room
Liked: Great location for city centre friendly staff and big room, lovely grounds and facade.
Disliked: Very tired room, stains on walls and ceiling, wonky cheap fittings and furnishings, lift broken. Didn't justify the cost.

A very disappointed person
Liked: The location, the staff were friendly, the hotel room clean
Disliked: The hotel is now closing for immigrants, I have used this hotel every year for over four years..I was informed that the hotel would be closed to the public for 12 months..I found the room we stayed in wasn't up to the usual standards...This time the bed was very lumpy and the coffee so hard as if it had been there a very long time...at £70 for the night I was very very disappointed.. unfortunately won't be staying again

Was ok but not good...
Liked: The breakfast was nice and the hotel grounds were nice , hotel was clean and the room was clean
Disliked: The lift was broken and we were on the top floor , the bar only sold bottles

Disappointing
Liked: The staff were very nice especially one couple who was so helpful , but unfortunately another staff member had a go at her for trying to help us get a taxi into Liverpool centre.
Disliked: Bedroom was small ,had to ask for hairdryer but no mirror in room , cobwebs in bathroom,bed was that uncomfortable our back were hurting by morning ,unfortunately the lift was broke, it was busy but felt like they put us in a room used for storage and just quickly emptied it out to put us their, door didn't open so had to get that sorted which they did .
