Utter shambles

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Where do I start..No breakfast or access to meals and drink, being diabetic this was a nightmare.Only food suggested on arrival was Macdonald's..yuck.How can it be classed as a bed and breakfast is beyond me.Room was a broom cupboard in disguise, people wandering about on landing all hours of the night, so no real sleep. I felt i have to leave a day early, missed the purpose of my stay, the races, as desperately needed food, drink and sleep.Manager was ok, offered an upgrade for Saturday night, but did not solve my diabetic needs etc, so declined and left.Never again

Basic. WYSIWYG

Liked: I was pleasantly surprised that the Night Manager remembered me from my last stay. On arrival there was no bath plug, I needed to return to reception to request one which was delivered within 10 minutes.
Disliked: Room 207: After my nice hot bath on arrival at 5pm, that was the last I saw of any hot water. Hot water taps ran cold after my night out, and next morning between 8am - 9.45am. The sink was very slow to empty. The flush handle just span round without flushing. The door spring in the communal fire door in the corridor was clearly broken allowing the door to slam each time anyone came through. The wall mounted TV is 90 degrees to the bed, so cannot be watched.
