Liked: The only one good feature it?s location
Disliked: Everything. It is a filthy hotel and feels like a homeless hostel. We were out in the ? annex? which is in the hotel car park. We had to pay a £50 deposit and were given a remote for the t.v which didn?t work. The furniture looked like it was bought from a charity shop, the room was dirty and carpet worn and stained. I came out of the room feeling grimy and dirty. The water pressure is poor, shower room almost unusable due to low pressure, which is probably just as well as the drains were blocked. Even though it?s cheap ( around same-as other budget hotels), do not be tempted to go, the worst hotel I?ve ever been to.

Cheap and cheerful
Liked: Cheap and cheerful for one night.
The bed was nice and clean and that?s all we needed. Staff were very friendly and check in was easy. Great location for a night in town.
Disliked: Would not recommend for a longer stay. No soaps in toilet or shower! Single glazing, so very loud as the bedroom backed onto a car park and road

Appalling Hotel to stay at!...
Liked: Nothing at all.
Disliked: The audacity to ask for £50 damages fee and then give us a room with a blocked and overflowing shower tray and scalding hot water is absurd. The shower temperature was scalding hot at all times also making it difficult to have a shower, this is a health and safety concern! My partner burnt himself whilst showering and now has a burn on his leg. No apologies have been made. They also refused to give us more toilet roll when we came into the room to a roll that was already half used. They also gave us dirty bed sheets. The kettle in the room had mould on the bottom of it so couldn't have a cup of tea in the morning as well! I really do not understand this level of not caring in the hospitality industry! I am seriously appalled at this level of service from this hotel, I knew it would be a little rough around the edges but nothing like this! They also refused to give us our £50 back upon us leaving so we now have to wait 7 days to see if we will be falsely accused of the shower tray being damaged. If I could give 0 stars I would! Utterly deplorable!!! Do not bother wasting your time or money staying here.

Horrible owner, helpful staff
Liked: The receptionist called forest was very helpful, however situation was well out of his control
Disliked: We were told prior to travelling when I called they had travel cots for our almlst 2 year old. When we got there, they just had a foldout bed, we got told to either have her use that or she our bed. Didnt care to help at all. The water went off for well over an hour. Bed side lamps didnt work so had to be brought another. The Owners are the issue.

Budget option - not great...
Liked: We only paid £45 for the room. The bed sheets themselves were clean (however they put dirty cushions on top which I wasn't happy about). It is positioned right in the centre of stone and included free parking.
Disliked: We were initially booked in for a stay in the lodge building around the back but were advised by the staff that we would be better paying to upgrade, which we did. The handle on the door entrance was flimsy and the lock did not feel secure. The room was dated and tired. The sofa and chairs were dirty, as was the canopy over the bed. The carpet was dirty too. There appeared to be an issue with the plumbing as when we turned on the tap in the bathroom, it made the most horrific loud noise and barely any water came out.
