Liked: If you are looking for warm, clean, comfortable accommodation with friendly hosts, look no further than The Collingdale guest house. Sharon and the team go the extra mile to make sure your experience is exceptional starting with a good hearty traditional English breakfast (or fresh fish if you desire ordered the day before). This Victorian property has nicely decorated high ceiling rooms with great views over the harbour. My wife and I would book this accommodation again if visiting these parts without hesitation.

Liked: The Breakfast was excellent, good quality products, well cooked. The location was in easy distance of the town, harbour and attractions
Disliked: There was very little soundproofing between adjacent rooms

An absolute gem full of...

Liked: Sharon was the most friendly and attentive host, full of local knowledge with tips for places to eat, drink and break up the journey home. She booked us in at Giovanni and Luca which was one of the best Italians we'd been to in a long time. Breakfast provided offers a lot of choice and you can place a fresh fish order each day if that suits. The guest house also offers a well stocked honesty bar in one of the lounges, this means you jot down whatever you take from the bar and it is added to your bill when you settle up.
Disliked: We selected the balcony room with a private bathroom down the stairs rather than en suite, but we knew this when we placed the booking and it was no trouble at all.
