A very cool place. Modern necessities with a beautifully decorated, old school feel.

Liked: Great service at front desk.

Disappointing - 2 out of 5

Lara, Kansas City Fri, 8 November 2013

My boyfriend had been raving about this hotel, and refused to stay anywhere else in St. Louis. I was looking forward to our stay here as I had heard nothing but good things about the hotel. Unfortunately, our room seemed like it hadn't been cleaned since the last person stayed there. The carpet was covered in crumbs, and the bathroom had hair from who knows how many people all over the floor and mainly in the shower. There were also hairs on our sheets that were not ours. I was disappointed that after paying almost two hundred dollars a night, the hotel can't afford to pay their staff enough to do a decent cleaning job. This said, the hotel really is beautifully decorated and the continental breakfast is quite pleasant. However, I would not spend that kind of money on a hotel that can't keep their rooms clean. Sorry Cheshire Inn, but you wont be getting my business again.

Liked: Beautifully decorated; good continental breakfast.
Disliked: Dirty.

My family will definitely stay again in the future. I was very impressed with how the staff cared about the guests, especially during a small emergency. They were calm and made sure everyone was comfortable when we were evacuated from the hotel, making sure our needs were met. I don't have anything negative to say about our stay.

Liked: Staff was very nice and helpful; food was very good; nice room theme.

Gorgeous place; cool, antique furniture, paintings, and decor - even a big bear! Big comfy bed with lots of pillows, and a lovely pool, and bar. Can't wait to visit again!

Liked: Everyone was so nice!
Disliked: We hit our legs on the bed posts constantly! LOL, paying for parking :(

Our stay at the Cheshire was more than awesome. Brian and Bobby at the front desk were awesome and very helpful for us finding a ride to our concert. We really enjoyed hanging out by the wood burning fire and our room was gorgeous. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Liked: We had the best stay we could have possibly had!
