Good

Not good service , unfortunately

Liked: Nice and clean ,
Disliked: Couldn't get in the blackbird when we arrived at the time which was confirmed by themselves , we were stood in the pouring rain ! I rang them they said they forgot we were coming so we had to sit for 15 minutes waiting for them to get our room ready , on our return home we get a phone call from blackbird asking if we had been smoking in the apartment, I replied no we don't smoke and wanted to know what the smell was in the apartment we were in , it's because I cooked egg on toast!! We won't be returning! I don't give bad reviews normally as i know its not helpful with struggling businesses, but to me this isn't good service !

Liked: the accommodation was clean however not deep clean - the windows inside had thick layers of dust around each pane and nets were stainedbedding was 100% clean (slightly smelt of tobacco on one side ) and bed was also clean, all furniture was clean except one chair had tobacco loose on and there was smell of stale cigarettes - not all the time but like it was haunted - low shower pressure however good water pressure in kitchenette is on A38 so expect traffic noise 24/7 - we knew this beforehand so were ok with this if taking dog need head torch for toilet breaks and definitely not good for nervous dogs due to traffic
Disliked: it is accessible on ground floor but there is a drop on the other side of outside door, as a disabled traveler more lights here would be good just to highlight or warnwifi was awful and despite the extensions (good effort and acknowledge work here) it didn’t help

Very good

Liked: It was great to have a proper separate kitchen, Studio in good location, very clean and comfortable bed.
Disliked: Could not get wifi to work.

Not what we'd booked

Liked: Comfy bed, clean apartment.
Disliked: On arrival we were told we had been upgraded to a self catering studio. We specifically booked this property because it offered breakfast and WiFi. Phone signal is flakey around the villages between Taunton and Wellington and internet means we can keep in touch with the relatives we had come to visit. There was NO internet in the end room we were given. NO breakfast was available. Lastly the property is on the inside bend of a busy A road, speed limit is 40. Entering the car park from Taunton and departing either way you have very little sight of oncoming traffic. Only there for two nights and we had two near misses.

Great place if you are...

Liked: Apartment had all that was needed in kitchenette, and good space to live/cook/sleep. It had a fresh, new feel to it all.
Disliked: Noises from cars on the busy road alongside studio. I was cold at night even with radiator full on. I requested and was given a blanket which helped a bit.
