very comfortable stay

Liked: super comfortable bed. large suite with a sitting area. only negative is the couch is so uncomfortable as to be painful . dining room wasn?t open but they provide breakfast. as I had to leave my room before they started serving in-room, I asked for a received an early breakfast.
Disliked: my room faces Main Street. I was concerned about road noise but it was quiet after 8pm. in high season it could be more of an issue.

Perfect getaway

Liked: The Barrington was top notch from walking in later than expected to our check out. the staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we wanted or needed. the entire place was exceptionally clean and well maintained. what made it extra special was all the extras that they thought off; leaving water in the refrigerator, chocolate next to the bed with a spray or roll on for a guest to use for an extra deep sleep. everywhere you turned there was a little something extra thoughtfulness. the rooms are all very large and beautifully decorated. the bed and linens are high end. we highly recommend the Barrington!

Liked: The room was very large and quiet. It was quirky with eclectic furnishings, but done with exceptional good taste.
Disliked: We usually rent houses,not hotels. So it was a little bit strange to be out of the room early in the day,all day.
