Delightful Experience!

Liked: The property is charming, peaceful and well located close to downtown. Robin and Rain were fantastic! Robin is a fantastic cook and prepared wonderful gourmet breakfasts. Robin went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed and linens were luxurious. The attention to detail and comfort were wonderful.

Liked: The house is even more beautiful than photos can show, and the location is perfect. Do ask to see the magnificent kitchen! Our room was large and lovely, and we'll never forget sitting on our private porch with afternoon pastries from a downtown bakery. Breakfasts were so very good and included Robin's homemade bread each day. We had special circumstances arise while in Asheville, and the kindness and generosity of Robin, Stephen and the staff were just extraordinary. We stayed eleven nights and were entertained by Robin's stories of the house and area and also were given many recommendations for restaurants and things to do. It's no surprise that some guests we met had visited Applewood Manor many times for the same reasons that we will return. The family atmosphere and the beauty of the property are truly compelling.

Disliked: Tiny TV, streaming only. Breakfast is communal at 9am only. We met a really nice couple, but being at a single table might be an issue for some people.

Liked: We had a fantastic stay at the Applewood Manor Bed & Breakfast. The home is lovely and beautifully decorated and well appointed. We really enjoyed the art work and decor. The owner, Robin, was friendly, helpful, interesting, and informative. She made sure we were comfortable and well fed! Breakfast was outstanding every morning and special compliments to the chef on the awesome chocolate chip cookies and daily bread. Loved the neighborhood/location and recommend the Applewood to anyone planning a visit to Asheville. We look forward to a return visit.

Liked: Breakfast was spectacular!
Disliked: The only issue we had was the on going construction. It would have been nice to have had the parking space next to our unit and access to the porches. The contractor(s) were very nice and tried to accommodate us as best as possible.

Liked: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The inn is tastefully decorated and packed with the little details that make you feel welcome. Staying here is like staying with old friends who happen to have a really great house—and who give you the run of the place.
