Liked: I loved the room itself, as well as the location. The breakfast offerings were tasty. I only had breakfast there for one morning (as I wanted to try places around town) but the turkey and cheese was very good. The overall ambiance of the hotel was very cool and the soap in the rooms smelled soooooo good. I?ll be looking up that company and definitely purchasing for my home use. :) Being able to walk down the street for restaurants, bars, and dessert was just top tier. I loved being able to leave my room and just go roaming around. The burger from Auntys next door is also a must try and get the pink tinq drink to go with it! I enjoyed my stay at the Annex and will definitely come back the next time I visit Toronto.

Liked: The ambience is warm and modern, and the staff are friendly to a fault. Our hotel check-in time was 3pm but we wanted to check-in early. The staff was happy to accomodate the request and even offered us complimentary beverages while we waited for the lead host to verify the room was ready. The location within the Annex neighbourhood is fantastic too. The hotel is very close to Spadina station, and is surrounded by an abundance of great restaurants to try on nearby Bloor Street. The complementary breakfast was good too with a few small options to choose from, and the room itself was fitted with a few nice additions like a record player and an iPad pro. Overall, a great experience.
