Wouldn’t stay again.

Liked: Some of the staff were nice. We didn’t use the spa area but that looked nice.
Disliked: Rooms are tired. Everywhere felt like it needed a deep clean. The courtyard could have been better used rather than some decking in a car park. Having to register your car everytime you went into a car park was irritating I.e dropping in front of the hotel and parking behind etc meant registering twice. The lift was broken and whilst we were offered 1st floor rooms when we asked to cancel the booking, lots of others weren’t. Particularly and elderly couple, one who had a walker until I mentioned to them to ask for it. When we tried to cancel we were told people could help with bags. Nobody did and nobody else was offered whilst we we in reception. This included people on crutches and with mobility issues. My husband wanted beans on toast for breakfast and was told they had run out but had been to Tesco to get more and now those had run out. We checked out a day early in the end.

Liked: The central location
Disliked: My husband and I both have walking difficulty. When we arrived we were told that we had four flights of stairs to our room and the lift was out of order. We asked for a lower floor and were told they couldn’t change it.

Great hotel with friendly helpful...

Liked: Great location, amazing staff who were very helpful. Special mention to the guy on reception who gave me advice on public transport and allowed me to leave my bag while I attended an appointment in town. Breakfast was excellent and filled me up at the start of a very long day, room facilities were excellent with a spacious bathroom
Disliked: The room I stayed in was insanely warm despite the radiator not being on.

Poor

Liked: The pool and the hot tub.
Disliked: No Elevator. Reception staff wasn't overly friendly and seemed to care less. The restaurant was nice and the staff there were great. The morning breakfast was horrible 😫

Good location room comfortable

Liked: Clean comfortable room.
Disliked: The reception staff were a bit stand offish and new system for checking in which was awful and caused big queue

Exceptional

Liked: Staff took good care of my bicycle. The spa was perfect. The bar and kitchen staff arranged for me to have a late bar meal. Breakfast was a buffet with many different options. Rooms comfortable and clean
Disliked: Trying to organise bike storage with a BOT prior to the vist was not helpful
