The Worst Not So Great...

Liked: The bed was comfortable besides the paper thin blanket and bed spread.
Disliked: The first room they offered had serious black mold and smelled disgusting! It also shared the floor with crack heads that lived on that wing.After politely refusing the room, they upgraded us to a bigger room on a different wing. The new room had a ring of black mold on the bathtub silicone, clearly we didn’t shower there. The 56* room smelled really bad when I first turned the heater on. The heater was far too loud to keep on when sleeping. The sound of water running through the pipes lasted all night long. The location looked out at a busy roundabout and freeway. The health department should inspect the entire facility!

Cheap dirty with a pool

Liked: Kids liked the pool.
Disliked: The hallways and the room stunk. Walls in room were disgusting. Ac didn’t hardly work. Everyday (3) I had to take my keys to the front desk for them to reprogram them. Keys didn’t work on any side door. Woke up to all emp on one morning and the next night there were two cops with a bunch of people in parking lot. The room above us was so noisy, everyone they walked around the floors squeaked, they kept my little kids and I up all night when we were in town for a tournament. Was dark and muggy in the pool room with no towels.

Motel is very run down....

Disliked: They need to let people know they are a 3 story motel that doesn’t have an elevator. The fridge in my room did not work. There was not one wash cloth. I called the front desk and they couldn’t bring us the towels. So my husband had to go get them. We told the front desk about the fridge not working and they said IF the maintenance man came in she would tell him. He never showed up. Sorry. We will take this off our list of places to stay when we come to Yakima.

Liked: The rooms was grate I love the breakfast was amazing the pool was freezing buse it broke Staff was nice.They gave us extra towels when we needed it.I would definitely recommend it again

Disliked: Upon arrival found smoke detector was chirping. Went down to front desk and the lady was friendly and asked another man about the batteries. He pilfered through some drawers and said he'd be up once he found one. He came to the room shortly after. When I opened the door he was holding a new battery out for me to take. As if I'm supposed to change the battery in the smoke detector myself which by the way I could not reach safely. He saw my surprise and asked if I wanted him to do it. Obviously, yes. He came in, no ladder, so he stood on the rolling swivel desk chair which I held in place to spot him. When entering the bathroom for the first time to use the toilet, there were yellowish orange urine drops on the toilet seat as if a male peed with the seat down and dribbled all over it. Fortunately I had some clorox wipes on hand to clean it up myself. While using the toilet I noticed 3 small dried blood spots on the floor in front of the vanity. The sprinkler head in the ceiling in the bathroom was completely corroded off so no fire sprinkler there which made me wonder if any of them in the room would work if needed. The air filter in the bathroom was partially taken apart and filthy. The water temp in the shower was warm, not hot. The heat/air had what looked like mouse droppings, bird poop and gravel inside the vents so we didn't turn on the air or heat. The microwave looked like it was wiped down with a greasy rag. The place was just unclean. Hallways stunk of weed and Pine-Sol. I thought it was a non-smoking hotel. Fortunately the price was low and you get what you pay for. I was in town for an event and options were very limited that weekend. The parking lot looked sketchy and had some loiterers, but I felt safe enough to walk over to the nearby restaurant (only because I carry) and my car turned out to be safe each day in the parking lot, whew!
