Super 8 by Wyndham Sturbridge, Sturbridge

Came in for an event at the Mill in the next town over - website said it was less than a mile... more like a 10 min drive. Hotel itself was accommodating with numbers and info regarding taxi services.

Liked: Nice staff. Good price for the quality. Better than expected.

Disappointing

Calm, quiet, and pleasant despite...

Liked: The room was neat and had everything we needed. The location is perfect for these trips.
Disliked: Despite our hanging out the "do not disturb" sign, we returned Saturday night to discover that the room had been entered and cleaned, and the sign hung again on the inside. We really prefer not to have anyone in our room during our stay.

Disliked: Lost electricity 2 times in one day, therefore, the room had no heating, could not charge phone, or using TV, coffee maker The worse was no staff to fix it at night, waiting a long time for a staff coming from home to fix it. I believe that the problem was a circuit breaker . Other distinctions were juice machine and toaster in the front office for breakfast.

Disliked: We booked in July for a wedding. When we got to the property they couldnt find us a room because the government rented all the rooms to refugees from Haiti and Chile. They had kids riding bikes in parking lot in us not looking where they were going. The adults would stand on the second floor balcony and stare down at us to try and intimidate us. We had to walk over trash to get to our room. The noise was outrageous well until after 1 am with banging and jumping. It was absolutely horrible. I didnt get any sleep!!!!
