Perfect location, good balance of...
Liked: Stayed with family for 1 night. Great location in 30 minutes to Joshua Tree National Park and Palm Springs. Liked hot drinking water and juices available on reception, light breakfast coffee and bread is included and is okay for this price. There is a cafe and grocery store in 3 minutes walk. Good balance of price and quality for this price.
Disliked: No sound isolation at all. We lived on the ground floor and heared someone walking forth and back in the room above. Sink is located outside of the bathroom. It is not a big deal for 1 night, but looks strange.

Liked: Close to destination
Disliked: I absolutely did not appreciate being woken up at 8:15 in the morning by housekeeping, especially considering check out was not until 11 and we were still sleeping. The property seemed very outdated and old. I was a little bit surprised that the name Wyndham was associated with this property in comparison, to the other places that I’ve stayed that are associated with Wyndham.

Affordable base to explore Joshua...
Liked: Price and location were great for visiting Joshua Tree NP.
Disliked: Traveling with young children, having breakfast at the hotel was nice. However, the breakfast was very bare bones - all processed carbs: some cereal, muffins, toast, and a honey bun. It was clearly all bargain basement product. But hey, they did feed us, so can't complain too much.

Average place to stay
Liked: We stayed in a couple Super 8 motels on this trip. This one had the better facilities and was a little more up to date. Everything was clean and working. Wi-Fi was great (streamed a basketball game). The room had a small fridge and a microwave, which was very helpful. Overall, it was fine for our needs.
Disliked: The doors don't block out any noise whatsoever. All night, we heard people in and out of their rooms, babies crying, etc. In other Super 8s, we got adjoining rooms; here, rooms were across the hall from each other, which wasn't as helpful. Breakfast here was disappointing. No butter for toast. The first Super 8 we used had a waffle maker; this one did not, although this one did have a juice machine (wasn't working our first morning). This last point isn't actually anything wrong with the hotel, but if you're there to see Joshua Tree National Park, this is over half an hour from any park entrance.
