Really poor small town experience,...

Liked: The only thing to like was the front desk staff. The young lady was very nice and tried to accommodate
Disliked: Everything else. Our first room had a bad smell, like urine. I asked for a different room and was shown two double beds in a very small room, which my husband declined. Despite the fact that there were only a dozen cars in the lot, we were told the only other king room was upstairs. At first, the room looked passable, but that’s where it stopped. We found empty snack bags and hair ties, as well as a year’s worth of dirt, behind the bedside tables. There was someone else’s hair all along the baseboard behind the bathroom door. Apparently, the tub had been repaired, at some point, and there was adhesive all over the bottom. The huge disappointment was the bed. I swore we were sleeping on a box spring - the springs were actually creaking! The pillows were very small and ridiculously soft, with no support, and the result was a backache, neck pain and headache. I listened to doors slamming until 3:30 am, which made me wonder what exactly this place was being used for. One slightly humorous side note - I thought it was raining or foggy, the next morning, but, no, the window was just that dirty. The building had new paint, but carpets were ancient and stained.
