Good for the money

Liked: Bed was comfortable, bathroom was ok.
Disliked: Breakfast was very poor. No cable TV in room. TV remote not working

Liked: The staff was very friendly! That was what I liked most. The breakfast was fine. I had everything I needed and I was satisfied.
Disliked: I understand this is an older hotel which is fine. The room was a little run down. The lower from panel on the sink was coming off. I was hoping the price would have been a little less. Nothing was awful. Just minor things. I would stay here again if needed.

Liked: Nothing. I did not get a room that I was charged for, or a refund. Had to contact my bank to get my money back
Disliked: Okay, I am highly upset and I will be filing a complaint. I live in berea Ohio I go to Baldwin Wallace university. My friend lives in Cleveland. We traveled to colombus to see Nicki Minaj. She was running late picking me up. So, I called the hotel to let them know that I cannot check in until after the concert. The receptionist said okay. After the call my card was charged for the room. It threw me off because I picked the option to pay for the room upon arrival. It was a different person when we arrived. We arrived at 2AM. The gentleman asked for my id. I’m 19. And stated that I cannot get a room regardless of my card being charged. There was no professionalism. The least you can do is give me a pass since the money was taken out without asking. He told me to call customer service. Calling customer service did not do anything . Cancellations aren’t even free. We planned to go straight to bed then leave first thing in the morning. We both had to change clothes at a munchies by the hotel. I went to Waffle House to get me something to eat and she went to speedway. I got to my dorm at 5am.. no telling when my friend got home since she lived another hour away. So we had to force ourselves to stay awake so my friend can drive me home and drive herself home. It was so frustrating. She picked me up. She lives far. She drove hours during the day. The reason of requesting a room is because we lived hours away and we were very tired. We also did not feel safe being out so late. So it was a little scary. That was inconvenient. My friend asked if the reservation can be in her mother’s name. But the receptionist said she has to stay with us. Which didn’t make sense if we’re adults. Unfortunately I had to cross my fingers in hopes of my bank disputing the payment for me. And they did. I felt robbed. I cannot believe this hotel basically stole from me. How do you take someone’s money and not let them get a room ? Then not even care to give them a refund

Very expensive absolutely and absolutely...

Liked: The man at the front desk when checking in late was amazing. He was very nice and accommodating.
Disliked: The secret $50 deposit that nobody told me about. And the fact that I now have to wait five to seven days to get it back. The room had an extra space heater in it for no reason the air was on and the heat was on there was people walking everywhere doing obvious criminal activity and no one in sight to stop them. The hot water was non-existent. The TV was a joke looked real good was real big but that was it hardly any volume and barely any picture. For the $82 I spent on this room, and let's not forget the secret $50 deposit. I could have went somewhere else and been way more comfortable.
