Disappointing

Liked: The location was nice, very convenient to everything. Easy check in and out. The rooms were outdated but clean.
Disliked: Even though I had a non-smoking room, the smell of smoke was still strong. I had to use an extra blanket to close off the bottom of the door to help with the smell.

For the cost of the...

Liked: It was quiet and the room was clean. All the staff was welcoming and polite.
Disliked: The shower on/off knob was very loose and the refrigerator was set too high (food froze). We stayed in Room 116.

Nice staff, good location, smokey

Liked: The location was convenient and the staff were nice.
Disliked: The hallway and rooms had a very strong smoke smell. The room shouldn't be advertised as non-smoking because the residual smoke lingered in the room. We opened the window to air out the room but found the area outside our window was where people were smoking.

Exceptional

Liked: Good location. Comfy bed.

We had a wonderful time.

Liked: The room was nice, staff were friendly and hotel was convenient to the Virginia Tech campus.
Disliked: Everything was great.

Loud and uncomfortable

Liked: It was easy to find.
Disliked: The bed was uncomfortable. Also the walls were thin. There was an ice machine outside my door that made loud grinding noises several times throughout the night.
