Our suite was very nice and clean. Great location close to venues and restaurants. Will definitely be using Staybridge Suites for the rest of my trips in Knoxville.

Slumming it middle class style

Liked: Friendly staff, decent breakfast, clean and updated facilities.
Disliked: We arrived at 3:30 pm EST, half an hour past check in time, and we asked to wait because they did not have a room available. They asked us to wait after an almost 6 hr trip. We waited for about an hour and a half in the lobby with all our stuff on a cart before we were able yo go to our room. Later we asked for more towels and were told they didn't have any. He found some and brought them to us. We asked for linens for the sofa bed and were told they didn't have pillows, blankets, etc. I asked why the sofa bed was so small was told it was a full size. It was slightly larger than a toddler bed. Smaller than a twin. We ended up taking the mattress out of the frame of the sofa and stuffing the 2 towels we received extra into the frame with a mattress toppernthat we rolled up so both girls could have somewhere to sleep. Had the bed been an actual full size sofa bed, none of this would have mattered. So, I overpaid for a room I thought would be big enough and comfortable enough for us to stay in. The guy at the desk was apologetic and very devoted to the hotel, but it did not make up for the fact we overpaid gor a room that did not meet the requirements we needed bc the room information was not forthcoming and they didn't have any extra towels, bedding etc. The girls had 1 blanket bw them. The next day we were able to secure another blanket. What kind of hotel runs out of towels, blankets and basic necessary items??

it was beautiful and so...

Liked: the establishment was amazing. the receptionist had such a welcoming smile and personality. i fell in love before even getting to my room. i got upgraded to a presidential suite for my 19th birthday. the gesture did not go unnoticed. i will definitely be booking here again.
Disliked: what was there not to like? the only thing i could say that would be an additional plus to booking this hotel would be ice machines on every level.

Good stay

Liked: Breakfast was tasty with a nice selection. Really liked the layout of the room
Disliked: We had dirty dishes in the cabinets and the coffee pot in our room didn’t work well. Don’t have to have something fancy like a keurig- just one that drops the water over the coffee evenly.
