Liked: A lovely warm welcome and in more ways than one. Logs ready at the waiting and fire set! Plenty of books to read. Lovely kitchen facilities available to cook in if needed. Wonderful Cumbrian breakfast the next morning. And then there were the lovely views and proximity to the Hoad.

Liked: A great place to stay in a lovely town. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, and the breakfasts on offer are exceptional (I opted for smoked salmon and scrambled eggs). The bedroom was sumptuous, the bed was warm and comfy, the views were beautiful.

St Mary Mount
Liked: A lovely breakfast with fresh fruit, yoghurt, muesli, fruit juice etc then a choice of cooked breakfasts followed by toast and home made preserves. It really was excellent.
The hotel is a lovely old house, individually styled unlike modern hotels.
Disliked: There was no mirror to style my hair. The only mirror was in the bathroom where there wasn't a socket. I mentioned this and I'm sure they'll rectify it. It would be worth noting that there isn't a lift which could be an issue for some. Worth checking with the hotel if someone is not likely to manage the stairs. There might be rooms on the ground floor.
